Symphyotrichum undulatum or Wavyleaf Aster has erect, semi-woody, branching stem with mottled green foliage and multiple tiny white flowers, often hundreds on a mature plant. The flowers are about 1/2″ across and have white petals with a yellow center. They can cover a large portion of a mature plant in a showy display enjoyed by humans and insects alike.
