Pycnanthemum tennuifolium produces erect stems with narrow, opposite, dark green leaves topped with clusters of flowers. The flowers are tiny and white with some bearing purple spots. Numerous insects are attracted to the flowers of this plant. All parts of the plant have a pleasant minty aroma. Excellent pollinator forage plant, attracts many varieties of butterflies, including Buckeye, Fritillary, and Checkerspot species.
