Decumaria barbara or Climbing Hydrangea is a woody vine that clings by rootlets and can reach up to 30ft tall. It has shiny, dark green leaves that are present in both shade and sun. This plant produces 2 to 4 inch flat-topped terminal clusters of small white flowers. These flower clusters are held 1-2ft from the climbing surface, but are only produced on new climbing growth.
