Take up solarization plastic (clear only)
Removed lespedezia inside solarization plots
Note: I am disappointed at the ineffectiveness of lespedezia eradication by solarization techniques.
Strange item: Although all of the online research I found posted by various extension services pointed to preferred use of clear plastic for better heat retention for more effective sterilization, there was NO lespedezia in plots that used both black plastic for three to four weeks, and subsequently, clear plastic for six weeks.
