Feel Empowered to Prune, Barbara Dorfman

04/14/24, Sunday, 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm

Learn how, why, and when, to prune.  With the right tools, gardeners and homeowners can do the job themselves or supervise family members, instead of being at the mercy of unskilled landscapers with hedge trimmers and chainsaws.  Prune for health and beauty. Many trees and shrubs prefer to be cut in late winter/early spring. We will discuss tools, cutting techniques, and specific types of plants’ needs.
