Eurybia divaricata produces low, spreading, prostrate stems that sprout from a basal leaf rosette and are topped with clusters of flowers. Flowers have white petals with a yellow center, are about 1/2″ across and resemble a tiny sunflower.  The blooms are followed by small nuts massed in the center of the spent flower head. Once established, this plant is very drought resistant
